PHTLS promotes excellence in trauma patient management through global education of all providers involved in the delivery of prehospital care.

Written Exam: Required

Performance Evaluation: Demonstration of skills competency in all learning stations and passing the skills evaluations

Certification Period:

3 years.  Recommended every 2 years.
