
Course Overview
Management is never easy, yet with the right tools, it can be fun and rewarding. Today's manager needs a combination of diverse technical skills, great people skills, and common sense. The week is composed of lecture, group activities, group discussions, role playing and hands-on experiences.
Target Audience
This course is primarily for supervisors with less than three years experience or for those supervisors that would like a refresher on the foundation of great leadership.
Course Objectives
Upon completion of this course participants will be able to:
- articulate the role of the supervisor
- understand their role and the new requirements as relates to OSHA requirements
- define great customer service
- describe ways to improve morale
- provide meaningful evaluations
- describe ways to develop great teams
- effectively confront the negative behaviors employees demonstrate
- describe how quality effects productivity, as well as, employee and customer satisfaction
