HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER

Membership in HEDS is available to facilities, organizations and individuals interested and dedicated to health care.

There are three types of membership in HEDS:

Corporate Membership is accorded to “bedded facilities”, such as hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or other healthcare entities having in-patient beds, within HEDS primary service area.  The primary service area includes Wyoming, southeastern Montana, western South Dakota and western Nebraska.

  • Dues are based on the number of licensed beds at the time of application and at the time of renewal each year.

  • Dues will be discounted by 5% if paid annually.

Associate Membership is an option for health care entities or groups, such as EMS, home health, pharmacies, and individuals interested in and dedicated to healthcare.

  •  Dues are fixed based on the number of FTEs employed by the  healthcare entity.

  • EMS or Ambulance Service fees are a fixed amount annually.

Individual Membership is available to qualifying individuals and allows that member to participate in educational offerings at the member rate. The dues are set annually by the Board of Directors.
